So far we’ve worked on structured, pre-programmed drills, sport is very rarely pre-programmed. Athletes need to improve auditory, visual, and kinesthetic feedback. In other words, we must train with several types of cueing. Athletes need the stimulus to be similar as to what is found in their sport, and they must react quickly.
