Steve Yahns’ athletes at Spectrum Sports Performance reflect nothing less than perfection. His attention to detail and experience have developed Yahns into an excellent coach. Knowledge coupled with a commitment to learning has led Yahns to become the Director of Education at SSP. Yahns is also responsible for the training of SSP’s elite level athletes consisting of NFL and MLB players, Pro Golfers and Tennis Players, and Track and Field athletes.

Yahns earned his bachelor’s degree at Pacific Lutheran University, where he played football, winning the NCAA Division III National Championship and ran track. He went on to complete his Masters of Exercise Science, Performance Enhancement/Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania.

After school Yahns interned with the world renown Athletes’ Performance in Phoenix, AZ, where he specialized in coaching the college prep program. At AP, Steve also worked under Ken Croner, the Director NFL Training at Athletes’ Performance, now with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Steve is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicinie (NASM).
