“How to” Run Faster

Looking to improve straight ahead speed? Take a look at posture. Accelerating is all about energy transfer. The foot strikes the ground with force, and that force is designed to transfer all the way through the body, resulting in long, fast, and powerful strides. Every piece of my body that’s not in place, i.e, head, upper back, lower back, hips, knees, etc, energy leaks and force is lost. When force is lost, I suck at running. More importantly, I have to work harder to cover the same distance if my posture was in line, and everything is firing.
