The SSP Internship program is unlike anything I have ever experienced. As a current graduate student pursuing my masters in Exercise Science, I was looking for a program that would supplement my time in the classroom. SSP’s internship program went beyond my expectations. They combine a classroom portion with a hands on approach that enables the interns to learn by going through it themselves. What better way for someone to learn then to have them experience it first hand. I would change my experience at SSP for anything. They have given me the tools necessary to enter the strength and conditioning field.
SSP Performance Internship – Level 2
Course Outline
An advanced extension of the Phase 1 Performance Internship. Those who have completed and excelled during our phase 1 internship are eligible to apply. During this internship our goal is to expose you to:

- Designing and implementing programs for selected groups/teams
- Advanced coaching education sessions with the SSP staff
- Weekly progress checks and evaluations with the SSP staff
- Continuing to build on scientific rationale for advanced movement and strength progressions/digressions
- This internship is offered in either the SSP Elite Training Facility or at Rollins College
Internship Requirements
- Entering or in your senior year of an Exercise Science program or related field
- Previously completed a Level 1 internship
- Proficient with Anatomy
- Proficient with Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Willing to commit 30 hours per week
