By: Will HitzelbergerRollins College Strength and ConditioningSpectrum Sports PerformanceSSP begins its 8th year at Rollins College this fall, and will once again be adding another team to its list. The Rollins College Men’s Basketball Team will now be using the Sports Performance Services of SSP for their off-season, in-season and post-season training.
We are excited to be working with Men’s Basketball, and look forward to adding to the rich history of the program. — Will Hitzelberger, Head Strength Coach.
The team began with Performance Testing on day one, and then right into a three day a week training program.
We are excited to work with Will and his team. They do a great job preparing athletes, holding them accountable and instilling discipline, and we need all of that right now. — Brad Ash, Assistant Coach
The focus of their program will be a heavy strength and power program, as they continue to play on their own several days a week.
So far the team has responded great to training, and they seem eager to get better everyday. — Hitzelberger
Rollins will begin its 2012-13 season on Friday, Nov. 2 with an exhibition game at Wake Forest.
