Hitzelberger – Will

Best known for his intensity and motivation for success, Will Hitzelberger founded Spectrum Sports Performance determined to build one of the most elite training facilities for athletes. Since founding SSP in 2005, Hitzelberger has grown the name and reputation around the country by training Collegiate All-Americans, Draft Picks in Baseball, Soccer and Football, and contracting with professional organizations such as Orlando City Soccer Club.

Hitzelberger began his coaching career in Tampa, FL with Jodie Johnson after finishing his collegiate soccer career at the University of Tampa, where he won the Division II National Championship in 2001 and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science and Sport Studies. In 2004, Hitzelberger left Tampa, FL to take a position with the New York Mets, where he would spend the season with their Minor League affiliate, Brooklyn Cyclones. During his time with the Mets, ideas and blueprints began to develop, which would evolve into Spectrum Sports Performance.

In 2005, SSP was conceived in Orlando, FL and quickly developed a name throughout Central Florida. Contracts were quickly created with Trinity Preparatory School, Rollins College, Central Florida Kraze (PDL) and Central Florida Krush (W-League). Hitzlberger then began to develop his team which would develop SSP and attract elite athletes.

As President of SSP, Hitzelberger oversees all business development and currently heads the Strength and Conditioning Program at Rollins College.
