His passion for sports and determination for success, combined with his knowledge and background as an Economic Developer, led co-owner and CEO, Dan Schuck to help build and develop Spectrum Sports Performance. Schuck was involved very early in the rise of SSP, and quickly establish himself as a leader in the company.
Schuck graduated with a degree in Economic Development from Rollins College, where he also played collegiate soccer. He would take his successful soccer career and experience, and oversee all soccer development with SSP. He develops contracts with club teams throughout Central Florida, and in 2010 took on Orlando City Soccer Club of the USL-Pro. In addition, Schuck works with SSP’s private professional soccer clientele that continues to attract players from around the world.
Schuck’s knowledge and expertise does not end with soccer. In 2008, he prepared three swimmers for Olympic Trials, and is preparing another swimmer for 2012 Trials. Along with his Olympic Trial list, he has trained a number of Division 1 and All-American swimmers at colleges around the country. He worked with tennis players seeded in the top 100 in the world, golfers on tour, and a number of top 10 wakeboarders to name a few.
Dan is also directly responsible for screening and evaluation of all SSP athletes. His expertise in being certified in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and developing corrective exercise protocols has resulted in an excellent education tool for the SSP Methodology.
Schuck continues to oversee all business development, and manages the SSP Elite Performance Center. Dan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
