Bobby O’Mullan was born and raised in Chicago Illinois, where he completed his Bachelor’s from Loyola University of Chicago. In his time at Loyola, Bobby founded the university’s club football program, which produced 7 NCFA All-Americans by his senior year. In addition to his time as an athlete, he was a personal trainer for three years at the George Halas Jr. Recreation Center on campus.
After completing his undergrad, Bobby moved to Orlando Florida to attend graduate school at the University of Central Florida and work as the Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant at the Recreation and Wellness Center. During this time, he was accepted into our intense 12-week internship program here at SPECTRUM.
Bobby graduated with his Master’s in Sport and Exercise Science from UCF and moved to Richmond Virginia to complete at 10-week internship at Virginia Commonwealth University, with their sports performance program. Immediately following the internship, Bobby began working for SPECTRUM as a Performance Specialist.
Bobby holds both an undergraduate and graduate degree, as well as, he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sport’s Performance Coach.
