Kelsey originally hails from Southern California where he was raised to appreciate physical activity and the colorful spectrum in which it exists. From a young age he became incredibly fascinated with the human body and the multifaceted nature of movement and sport. His involvement with a wide variety of competitive sports including Track and Field, Skydiving, Wrestling, and Sport Shooting, has permitted a more keen understanding of what it takes to be prepared physically, and then conquer the game mentally.

It is with this passion that Kelsey found himself at the University of Central Florida. He started working as a Personal Trainer at the UCF Recreation and Wellness Center in 2011 and quickly rose to the rank of Senior Trainer. Working with such a diverse range of clientele and applying his skills to the development of advanced programming, Kelsey found himself in a position to take the bull by the horns. This desire to become the best has since led to his involvement with SPECTRUM and his acceptance into UCF’s Sport and Exercise Science Graduate Program. Kelsey is expected to graduate in 2016 with a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology.

Kelsey is also certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). These top commendations along with his degree in Sport and Exercise Science set him and his training apart from other programs. Yet it should be understood that education alone is not the key to providing quality service. “I believe that a good attitude and integrity are the necessary catalysts for the effective implementation of any exercise prescription.” You’ll find Kelsey on the floor fully engaged and with a smile on his face, molding his clients into the best versions of themselves.
